The book, published in November 2017 has already sold over 3000 copies and I am thrilled with the feedback from people who have bought it! I have been undertaking a series of illustrated talks and book signings to promote it that have gone down extremely well.
The book looks at the amazing historical remains that exist in this high mountainous part of the Snowdonia National Park in the County of Meirionnydd. It explores the drovers roads that cross from the coast over the Rhinog mountains and on into England. It also follows Bronze Age tracks and highlights the many stone circles, ancient tombs and Iron Age forts that abound throughout this wild upland area.
Scots pines marked overnight accommodation for the drovers and their cattle
The area is also littered with the remains of manganese, copper and gold mines.
