Beach Insect

As part of my MA Assessment, a group of three (Judith and Faith too!) had to undertake an art project with BA students from Aberystwyth University.  We arranged a Beach Art Party  looking at ephemeral art and bribed them with loads of chocolate cake and cookies.  This took place on Clarach Beach as it was strewn with debris from the February storms and was idea.  We made landart sculptures in groups and then made ‘a Tibetan Shrine’ sculpture as a group (see image).  It was a great success with everyone really enjoying playing with a different art form and the weather was kind to us too.    The local people also thought it was great and wanted to join in!
