WALKING IN SNOWDONIA

I live and work in the magnificent Snowdonia National Park and have spent many years exploring the landscape, both as a mountaineer and photographer. Snowdonia has an extremely diverse landscape, from sea-shore to mountain top, from waterfalls to river valleys, from woodland to moorland, from ruined quarries to old drovers' roads and from castles to ancient burial chambers - they all have a very special magic.

I am a qualified Mountain Leader and First Aider, with many years experience of leading individuals and all types of groups throughout Snowdonia.

Hillwalking skills can be undertaken such as navigation (map-reading and compass-work), mountain weather, appropriate equipment and mountain safety.

Photography skills tuition can also be given during the walk if required - visit Outdoor Photography for details/qualifications

Historical Walks
Walks can incorporate a variety of ruined quarry sites and ancient monuments; they can follow along ancient ways and drovers' roads and include lakes, rivers, waterfalls and valleys. Snowdonia is rich in the historical remains of man throughout the centuries. Email me for further details and any special requests.

Hill Walking
Walks can be designed to suit your specific requirements. You can choose from sea-shore and river walks to low level hill and valley walks, to mountain ridges and peaks or incorporate all of these! Email me for further details and with any special requests.

I am a member of the Outward Bound Search and Rescue Team and have led expeditions to Nepal, Africa and China.

I can make arrangements for hire of a full range of Outdoor equipment/kit at a reasonable cost if required and I can recommend accommodation to you. Email me with your requirements.
